Surrey County Council are performing further works on the A331 over three nights this week. According to their website, the Council will be working on ‘the laying of anti-skid surfacing’, and this work will be carried out from Monday 24th April for three nights, between 10pm and 6am.
The new cycle lane was installed late last year, with work being completed in the first few months of 2017. The new cycle lane runs from Blackwater station to the Sainsburys store on the A331. Traffic lights on Stanhope Road and at Watchmoor park were also replaced.
There’s no mention of disruption to the A331 itself, but with the work being performed overnight, it can be assumed that one lane will be closed off to protect workers as they carry out the surfacing.
